Health Ministry: 57 new coronavirus cases detected, 25 others recover

Damascus, SANA- Health Ministry announced on Friday that 57 new coronavirus cases were detected in Syria, adding that 25 patients have recovered while 4 others passed away.

The Ministry said in a statement that the total number of coronavirus cases recorded in Syria has reached up to 23,996 till now, of which 21,514 have recovered and 1724 have passed away.

The first coronavirus case was recorded in Syria on March 22^nd, 2020 in a person who came from abroad, while the first fatality was recorded on the 29th of the same month.
