People’s Assembly Speaker announces receiving two notices on new applications to run for President

Damascus, SANA-Speaker of the People’s Assembly, Hammoudeh Sabbagh, announced that the People’s Assembly received on Friday two notices from the Supreme Constitutional Court that, Sinan Ahmad al- Qassab and Mohamad Youssef Ramadan, submitted applications to run for President as the number of the submitted applications has risen to fourteen till now.

On April 18th, Speaker of the People’s Assembly announced the commencement of candidacy for Presidential elections as of Monday April 19th till April 28th.
