Temperatures slightly drop, remain above average

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will slightly drop, yet remain from 8 to 10 degrees above average, as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by southwesterly air current in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

Meteorology Department expected in its Tuesday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general, local rain showers are expected over several areas, while the weather will be misty over the eastern and al-Badia regions.

The winds will be westerly to southwesterly with a low to moderate speed and active gusts in afternoon, while the sea waves will be low in height.

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows:

Damascus 34/16, Daraa 34/16, Homs 32/14, Hasaka 35/20, Tartous 23/18, Aleppo 33/17, Deir Ezzor 37/23.
