Damascus, SANA- Health Ministry announced on Friday that 125 new coronavirus cases were recorded, 114 patients recovered and 8 others have passed away.
The Ministry added in a statement that the total number of coronavirus cases recorded in Syria has reached up to 20,008 till now, of which 13,780 have recovered, while 1,360 have passed away.
The first coronavirus case was registered in Syria on March 22nd last year for a person who came from abroad, while the first fatality was recorded on the 29th of the same month.
