Grospic: Coercive measures against Syria shame on those who impose them

Prague, SANA-Head of the Czech Parliamentary Committee for Friendship with Syria Stanislav Grospic has stressed the need to restore all areas to the authority of the Syrian state, adding that the unilateral coercive measures imposed on Syria are shame on those who impose them.

In a statement to the SANA correspondent in Prague, Grospic said that the Syrian people deserve admiration and appreciation for their steadfastness in the face of international terrorism and their efforts to rebuild their country.

He criticized at the same time the Western media for ignoring the reality of what is happening in Syria, especially with regard to the fact that many Western countries have been supporting terrorist organizations on Syria’s territory.

He added that the Turkification attempts by the Turkish occupation in some Syrian areas show the danger of the prevailing imperialism approach which is adopted by the regime of Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Grospic stressed that the Czech people who suffered from the Nazi occupation strongly oppose the hostilities carried out by some NATO countries (NATO) in Syria, and he also called for exposing the crimes and violations committed by the Israeli occupation in the occupied Arab territories.
