Health Ministry: 75 new coronavirus cases recorded in Syria, 87 patients recover, 6 pass away

Damascus, SANA- The Health Ministry announced on Tuesday that 75 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Syria, adding that 87 patients recovered, while 6 others passed away.

In a statement to SANA, Health Ministry said that the total number of infections registered in Syria till now has reached up to 16,117 cases, and the recoveries have amounted to 10,541, while the deaths have climbed up to 1,074.

The first coronavirus case was registered in the country on March 22^nd last year in a person who came from abroad, while the first fatality was recorded on the 29^th of the same month.
