Havana, SANA- Syrian students studying in the Cuban universities, and members of the Syrian Community in Cuba have asserted their standing by their homeland in the face of the continuing global aggression and the international terrorism which it has been facing.
In a statement on the occasion of the 58th anniversary of March 8th Revolution, Syrian students and the members of the Syrian Community in Cuba have denounced the unilateral coercive economic measures imposed on Syria.
They asserted that these measures and the terrorist aggression on their homeland aim to weaken it and undermine its position and divert March 8th Revolution from its path of confrontation with the Zionist enemy. They also expressed their determination to participate in all constitutional entitlements.
The students hailed the achievements of March 8th revolution, stressing that it has constituted an important national and Pan-Arab event in the contemporary history of Syria, and that it was a true revolution, faithful to its strategic goals and confident of the victory with the sacrifices of the Syrian Arab Army.
