Baghdad, SANA- Iraqi Minister of Youth and Sport, Adnan Dirjal has underlined the importance of cooperation in the domains of youth and sports between Syria and Iraq.
Dirjal’s remarks came during a meeting on Thursday with Syria’s Ambassador in Baghdad Sattam Jadaan al-Dandah.
In a statement, the Iraqi Ministry of Youths and Sports said “The two sides underlined the importance of activating the memos of understanding and agreements in the domains of youth and sports, in addition to exchanging expertise and visits and holding joint activities.”
Ambassador al-Dandah, for his part, expressed confidence in the brilliant future of the bilateral relations, calling for activating cooperation in the sport and youth spheres.
“During the meeting the two sides discussed the signing of a memo of understanding in the domains of youth and sports, in addition to exchanging expertise and visits and holding sport joint activities, camps and cordial matches through the meetings of the 10th session of the Syrian-Iraqi Committee which is scheduled to be held soon in Baghdad,” al-Dandah said in a statement to SANA reporter.
