Beirut, SANA- Upon the directives of President Bashar Al-Assad, Syrian ambassador to Lebanon, Ali Abd al-Kareem offered condolences on the demise of Lebanese MP, Jean Obeid.
Family of the deceased expressed gratitude and appreciation to President Al-Assad for his generous gesture and sympathy, wishing Syria all the best and the return of security and stability to it.
Late MP Obeid passed away on Monday at the age of 82, after his infection with the Coronavirus.
