Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will slightly rise to become from 6 to 9 above average as the country is affected by a superficial high air pressure accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Tuesday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general with some scattered clouds, while the weather will be cold at night over the mountains, warning against the formation of fog over the mountains and some inlands.
The winds will be of changeable of low speed, and the sea waves will be low in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows:
Damascus 21/8, Daraa 21/8, Homs 21/7, Hasaka 19/7, Tartous 22/14, Aleppo 20/7, Deir Ezzor 21/8
