Health Ministry: Corona recovered cases exceed the number of new detected cases for 10th day

Damascus, SANA-The number of recovered cases of coronavirus has exceeded the number of the recorded infections for the 10^th successive day as 82 patients infected with the virus have recovered, while 71 new cases have been detected and five others have passed away, according to the Health Ministry.

The Ministry said in a statement on Friday evening that the total number of coronavirus reached to 14338 till now, of which 7974 cases have recovered and 943 others have passed away.

The first coronavirus case was recorded in Syria on March 22nd last year in a person who came from abroad, while the first death from the virus was registered one week later.
