Damascus, SANA-For the seventh straight day, the number of the recoveries from the coronavirus has exceeded the number of the recorded infections as 81 coronavirus patients have recovered, while 46 new cases have been detected and three of the cases registered in Syria have passed away, according to the Health Ministry.
In a statement, the Ministry said that the total number of coronavirus cases which have been recorded in Syria has reached up to 14,142 till now, of which 7,725 cases have recovered and 929 others have passed away.
The first coronavirus case was recorded in Syria on March 22nd last year in a person who came from abroad, while the first fatality was registered on the 29th of the same month.
