Damascus, SANA- Prime minister, Houssine Arnous, discussed on Monday with board of Directors of Syrian-Iranian Chamber of Commerce means of enhancing bilateral economic relations, increasing the mutual commerce between Syria and Iran and expanding the joint investments that support the national economy and providing the requirements of production process.
During the meeting, Arnous affirmed the necessity of developing the chamber’s working mechanism to be able to participate in the reconstruction process and develop the export sector, in particular the Syrian wanted products in the Iranian markets.
He pointed out to the importance of product swap between the two countries in a way to meet the needs of local market from basic materials and requirements of the health sector, particularly in light of Corona pandemic.
“The government is ready to provide support to the chamber to hold joint exhibitions and find cooperation agreements that guarantee the flow of goods and materials to markets of the two countries that help face the blockade imposed on the two friendly peoples,” Arnous added.
