Temperatures above average, cold weather at night

Damascus, SANA-Temperatures will remain from 1 to 3 degrees above average in most areas as the country is affected by a superficial high air pressure in all layers of the atmosphere.

Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy, the weather will be cold at night, warning against the formation of frost over the mountains.

The wind will be easterly to northeasterly with a low to a moderate speed over the coastal regions, while the sea waves will be low in height.

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows:
