Food supplies distributed among charities and SARC in Hassaka

Hasska, SANA- Director of Social Affairs in Hassaka province Issam al-Husien said that food supplies from the World Food Program (WFP) warehouses are being distributed among the charities and the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) branches in province so that they can be delivered to needy civilians.

He said in a statement to SANA on Tuesday that the total amount which has been received in the province reached 46,000 food baskets which include rice, lentil, vegetable oil, sugar, canned food, chickpeas, salt, pasta, and flour.

Al-Husien pointed out that 600 food baskets have been allocated for Ayn al-Khadraa camp for Iraqi refugees in al-Malikiaa city, asserting that all the affected families in the province will received aid.

Throughout November, a totoal of 45,000 food baskets were distributed in the province among displaced and terrorism-affected families.
