Technical workshops continue rehabilitating infrastructure in al-Zara town, Homs countryside

Homs, SANA- With the increase of the return of the locals of al-Zara town in Talkalakh area in Homs western countryside to their town after they left it due to terrorism, the competent authorities continue rehabilitating the infrastructure and improving the service situation in the town which have been damaged due to the terrorists’ attacks before the Syrian Arab Army has defeated them.

 

Head of the Municipal Council in al-Zara Rula Haweik told SANA reporter that the number of the families which have returned to the town reached 150 families, asserting that other families are working to rehabilitate their homes to return as soon as possible.

Haweik pointed out to the efforts exerted in the field of rehabilitating and restoring the service sectors in the town, which have been damaged due to the terrorist groups’ attacks.

She added that a project to rehabilitate sanitation was carried out with a cost of SYP 20 million and a length of 400 meters, in addition to the projects of rehabilitating the roads inside the town and disposal of rubble with a cost of SYP 160 million.

She also added that an electricity transformer with a capacity of 400 kV was set up, asserting that the technical workshops also work on rehabilitating the water network in al-Zara town and al-Husrajiyeh village.

For his part, Director of Martyr Hussein al-Kurdi School in al Zara Sa’ad Jumaa said that the school was immediately equipped as it includes two floors for the basic education stage, asserting that the educational process is running very well.

A number of locals called all those who left their homes to return to them after they have been liberated by the Syrian Arab Army.
