Damascus, SANA- President Bashar al-Assad received on Wednesday cables of condolence over the demise of Deputy Prime Minister ,Foreign and Expatriate Minister ,Walid al-Moallem.
President of Abkhazia, Aslan Bzhania, offered deepest condolences to President al-Assad and the Syrian people over the demise of al-Moallem, referring that the life of the late was a shining example of the devoted service for Syria’s interests.
Prime Minister of caretaker Lebanese government, Hassan Diyab, expressed sincerest condolences to Syrian President and government and to the family of al-Moallem , asking God forgiveness and good rewards for him.
Chairman of the Hungarian Worker’s Party ,Gyula Thürmer, also expressed his sincerest condolences over the death of al- Moallem ,referring to his significant role and struggle to defend the interest of the Arab people, in addition to his efforts to preserve the friendship and cooperation among the Syrian and Hungarian peoples.
In a similar cable, Sheikh of al-Muahideen Muslim Community in Lebanon, Nasr al-Din Gharib ,expressed the deepest condolences over the death of al- Moallem ,stressing that it is a big loss not only for Syria but also for every honorable person in this world.
