Occupied Jerusalem, SANA-The Israeli occupation authorities on Monday announced a new settlement plan for establishing 500 settlement units in Bethlehem in the West Bank.
Director of the Wall and Settlement Resistance Authority office in Bethlehem, Hassan Barijia told Wafa News Agency that the new plan aims to establish 500 settlement units to expand a settlement constructed in Foukin town, west of Bethlehem.
Within the framework of their open war against the Palestinians’ presence in the West Bank to implement colonial annexation plans, the occupation authorities announced last month a plan to seize hundreds of dunums of Palestinian lands south, east and west of Bethlehem, to establish 7,000 new settlement units and settlement roads threatening to separate the city from occupied Jerusalem, Ariha and the Dead Sea.
