Sweida, SANA- Some 16 new artisanal and industrial facilities have entered the labor market in Sweida province during the third quarter of 2020 with a capital of about SYP 234 million.
Director of Sweida Industry Directorate, Haitham Amer said that these facilities, including the engineering and food sectors, provided 34 job opportunities,
These facilities, 10 industrial and 6 other artisanal, provided 109 job opportunities compared to 99 ones provided by 27 facilities in the same period last year with a capital of SYP 768 million.
Amer noted that during the same period and according to Law No. 21, eight industrial establishments were licensed with a capital exceeding SYP 105 million, providing 17 job opportunities.
Last year, 58 facilities have entered the labor market in Sweida with a capital of SYP billion and 125 million.
