Damascus, SANA- Talented children have chosen colors as a friend and they showcased their artistic skills at the gallery of the National Center for Visual Arts, in partnership with the “Shaghaf” (Passion) activity.
The exhibition, which includes 120 gifted children aged between 4 to 18 years old, encompassed various artistic paintings including drawing, Sculpture, and Graphics which reflects the talents of those children and their current and future visions.
Father Elias Zahlawi stressed, in a statement to SANA, the importance children as investment project as they constitute our future, therefore we should strengthen respecting their talents and developing their self-realization.
Director of Shaghaf Studio Rim al-Hayek said that the joint workshops with the National Center for Visual Arts were kicked off in 2018 under different titles each.
al-Hayek added that the current workshop which is under the title “ The Child’s Psychological Health” concentrates on what the child is hiding inside himself and sheds the light of the beautiful situations in the child’s life to help him to develop his tools, improve his psychological state, as well as refine his personality and visual culture.
The Shaghaf activity is a youth initiative that receives children of all ages to teach them drawing and sculpture.
