Deir Ezzor, SANA- The US occupation-backed Qasad “SDF” militias have imposed a siege on Jadid Akidat village, southeast of Deir Ezzor City, and they have prevented the locals to enter or exit from the village.
Local sources told SANA that Qasad militias have imposed a siege on Jadid Akidat village in order to tighten the noose on the locals who reject the presence of the militias in their area as they have wreaked havoc in the area and they destroyed the normal life of its locals through their checkpoints and gunmen as they imposed royalties and kidnapped many youths and forces many of them to join the militias’ ranks.
Last month, Qasad militias imposed a siege on the towns of al-Shahil, al-Baseera, al-Hawaij, Zubian, Jdid Bakkara, al-Tayyaneh, al-Sabha, Abu al-Natil and Shannan and carried out an arrest campaign against the civilians in an attempt to control the protests witnessed by these villages in Deir Ezzor Countryside through which the locals called for the expulsion of Qasad militias who have gone far in their criminal acts against the locals.
The sources affirmed that an armed patrol from Qasad militias has cordoned off the village of al-Hamadanyia in the far southern countryside of Hasaka near the administrative borders of Deir Ezzor province and they broke into one of the houses in the village and kidnapped two persons from their home and took them to unknown destination.
Over the past months, the areas where Qasad militias are positioned have witnessed many demonstrations staged in many villages and towns and in the countryside of Hasaka, Deir Ezzor and Raqqa against these militias and in protest against their criminal acts against the locals which have caused a state of insecurity in the areas which are under their control which have witnessed an increase in the cases of kidnapping civilians, particularly the youths.
