Damascus countryside, SANA- A woman was seriously injured in a blast of a mine left behind by terrorist organizations in the farms of Beit jin town in Damascus southwestern countryside.
A source at the Police Command told SANA reporter on Tuesday that a woman in her fourth decade sustained multiple shrapnel wounds after the explosion of a mine left behind by the terrorists while she was working in her family’s farm as she was rushed to Mamdouh Abaza Hospital in Quneitra to receive the required treatment.
Dozens of civilians, including children and women, have been injured in the explosions of booby-trapped vehicles and mines planted by terrorists ahead of their defeat, while the engineering units at the Syrian Arab Army work to comb the liberated areas and dismantle and remove mines and booby-trapped vehicles to ensure the safety of the displaced who have been returning to their homes.
