Damascus Countryside, SANA- The technical workshops have started the rehabilitation and repair of the Arab gas pipeline on which an explosion took place due to a terrorist attack in the area between Adraa and al-Dumair in Damascus Countryside.
Earlier on the day, the firefighting and civil defense teams have been able to put out the fires which had erupted on the pipeline completely.
Meanwhile, Caretaker Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Eng. Ali Ghanem announced the beginning of the operations of inspection at the pipeline to conduct the maintenance and replace the damaged parts.
Minister Ghanem affirmed that during the coming period, the power generation plants will be supplied with gas, and the situation will return to what it used to be before the terrorist attack.
