Damascus, SANA- Students of the Syrian Scientific Olympiad participated alongside students from 94 countries in the World Biology Olympiad, organized by Japan from remote on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Distinction and Creativity Agency said in a statement that of those tests which took place over a continuous five-hour period, included practical tests in the animal physiology and bioinformatics specialist, noting that it takes the technical measures required for the regulator in Japan, including Live video filming of students taking exams from the designated centers in the province of Aleppo at the headquarters of the University of Aleppo, and in Damascus at the headquarters of the Distinction and creativity agency.
The participating Syrian team includes students Majd Nasra, from the third high school Basil Al-Kanjou from the first secondary class, and Batoul Amraya from the third grade High school of Aleppo governorate, while from Damascus it included student Aws Dayoub, of the third grade Secondary.
The students of the Syrian Scientific Olympiad won two bronze medals and a certificate of Appreciation in the World Chemistry Olympiad organized by Turkey from remote on July 25th , with the participation of students from 80 countries.
