400 food and health packages distributed in Yarmouk Camp

Damascus, SANA – The General Authority for Palestine Arab Refugees (GAPAR) and the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) distributed 400 humanitarian aid packages in Yarmouk Camp in Damascus on Friday.

GAPAR Director General Ali Mustafa told SANA that the aid, which was distributed with the help of the Syrian government, consisted of 200 food packages along with bread rations and 200 health baskets at Rama Street in the Camp, adding that the UNRWA medical team in the distribution point provided medical services and medicine to locals.

Mustafa added that the total of food packages that have been distributed since the beginning of the year reached 55,174, while the number of health packages reached 10,884.
