Damascus, SANA-A Syrian airline’s plane on Thursday arrived in Damascus International Airport carrying on board 260 Syrian citizens coming from Erbil Airport in Iraq in the framework of the government’s efforts to get the Syrians back who were stranded abroad.
The coming persons were transported by private buses to the quarantine center.
Director of Damascus Health, Dr. Hazar Raef, said in a statement to reporters that the coming persons will stay in the quarantine Center for 14 days, this period will free is applied to all returnees to ensure that they of coronavirus and ensure their safety.
Syrian airlines began running flights since the 4th of May to evacuate the Syrian citizens who wish to return from the countries abroad to Syria, according to lists registered through the Foreign and Expatriates Ministry at embassies and diplomatic missions.
