Moscow, SANA- Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov discussed in a phone call with his US counterpart Mike Pompeo the situations in Syria and Libya.
Sputnik Agency quoted the Russia Foreign Ministry as saying in a statement that both sides discussed issues in solving the crises in a number of regions in the world including the situation in Syria, Afghanistan and Libya.
The two sides also tackled the preparation for the meeting of the leaders of the Security Council’s permanent states which Russia had earlier called for holding, and they exchanged viewpoints on guaranteeing the strategic stability in framework of the scheduled meetings to be held by the Russian-US working groups to discuss military political issues.
