Damascus, SANA-People’s Assembly on Thursday discussed the performance of the Economy Ministry and issues related to its work.
The Assembly, in a concluding session, chaired by its speaker Hammoudah Sabbagh, affirmed that the occasion of the forty-sixth anniversary of the liberation of Quneitra city from the Zionist enemy represents a symbol of pride for every Syrian citizen and an example of the necessity to continue the resistance against the Israeli occupation and aggression.
On this occasion in 1974, the national flag was raised in the liberated city of Quneitera by late Leader, President Hafez al-Assad.
Later, the MPs called for the rationalization in offering import licenses and concentrating on the import of the basic needs of citizens especially sugar, rice, oil, tea, medicines and veterinary vaccines.
