Damascus, SANA-With the aim of reaching all children in different regions, especially in neighborhoods which had been liberated from terrorism, providing vaccines, and monitoring children who have dropped out of vaccination,
the health teams in several areas of Damascus completed the national vaccination days targeting children whose ages are between one day and five years.
SANA ’s camera toured vaccination centers in Yarmouk area, where Chief of the second health area, Dr. Nahid Daghistani, said that the area was targeted many times
, especially after years of the terrorist war, and contains a number of families estimated about 200 ones, including 40 children who need the vaccine.
She added that the medical teams monthly visit the area to provide vaccination for children within the national vaccine program.
For her part, Iman Klol, who is in charge with the vaccine in the second health area, indicated that the number of children who received vaccination in the neighborhoods of the health second area since the start of the national vaccination days, until yesterday, reached 559 children who have dropped out of vaccination, among them nearly 200 children received vaccination through fixed-point teams.
