Four fourth straight day, terrorists prevent students from exiting Idleb to take exams

Hama, SANA- For the fourth straight day, terrorist groups have prevented more than 2600 students from passing through the areas which are under their control in Idleb to their areas of residence in Hama province through the humanitarian corridor in Tarnabeh town, west of Saraqeb City to take their exams of the basic education and high school certificates.

Fadi Sa’adoun, who is in charge of the tasks of the Idleb Governor, told SANA reporter that terrorists prevented students who gathered from different regions in the town of Nairab from going to Hama to take their exams despite the preparations and measures taken by Idleb governorate and the preparation of exam centers and accommodations for students, in addition to preparing medical staff to follow up on their health regularly.

Sa’adoun added that the governorate is keen to facilitate and simplify all procedures for receiving students, indicating that the teams charged with receiving Idleb students will continue to stay at Tarnabeh crossing on a daily basis till they will be allowed to pass.

In turn, Head of Idleb Education Directorate, Abdul Hamid al-Muammar indicated that a number of students were beaten by terrorists to intimidate them and prevent them from leaving by any means, noting that the available information confirms that terrorist groups, based on the directives of the Turkish points stationed in Idleb, have prevented students from reaching al-Nairab town.

Al-Muammar added that 27 exam centers were allocated to receive 2,684 students from Idleb province, and 12 centers were prepared for their residence before and during the exam period, indicating that students will be transferred daily from the residence centers to their exam centers.

On June 11th, a batch of students arrived from Aleppo eastern countryside “Manbej”, and it included 522 students who came to take high school exams in Aleppo within strict precautionary measures.
