Syrian snooker player tops his group, qualified to second tournament in World Snooker Championship

New Delhi, SANA – The Syrian team scored new records in World Snooker Championship being held in India with the participation of the best snooker players from all the world.

Player Karam Fatima topped his group in the championship and guaranteed qualification to the second tournament after winning three games respectively, while player Omar al-Quoja won a game but was beaten in another.
Executive Director of Billiards and Snooker Federation, George Makhoul clarified in a statement that Fatima beat the Egyptian player, Wael Talaat, who is classified the second in the Arab world 4-1, and he also beat the Indian player 4-1. Fatima beat the Swedish player 4-1.
