Moscow, SANA – Russian President Vladimir Putin appointed Alexander Efimov as Special Envoy of the Russian President for Developing Relations with Syria.

This came in a decree issued by President Putin on Monday which appointed Efimov, who is the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Syrian Arab Republic, as Special Envoy, effective immediately.
