Bratislava, SANA-leader of the Communist Party of Slovakia, Jozef Hrdlička, condemned the western unilateral economic measures imposed on Syria, affirming that they are illegitimate and have not been approved by any international organization.
“Imposing such measures on Syria and other countries like Iran and Cuba when the world confronts coronavirus represents one of the inhumane and aggressive polices by the west,” Hrdlicka told SANA correspondent in an interview.
He called on the Slovak government to renounce the US and western policies, stressing his party’s support to Syria, Iran, Cuba and Venezuela in their efforts to confront coronavirus.
