Hasaka, SANA- Minister of State for the Development of the Northeastern region, Abdullah Khalil Hussein, inspected Wednesday the situation of work at the Tumor Treatment Center, the Mill, al-Baath bakery, al-Awejeh Water Station and carpet factory in al-Qamishli city.
The Minister hailed the huge efforts exerted by the governorate to establish the infrastructure for Tumors Treatment Center and provide the citizens with basic materials like bread and water.
He pointed out that the Ministry of Water Resources coordinated with al-Hasaka governorate to drill a number of water wells and boost the situation of drinkable water in the city, adding that all mechanic and electrical equipment will be ensured to put these wells in service as soon as possible.
For his part, Hasaka Governor Mohammad Za’al al-Ali said that the governorate seeks to establish Tumors’ Treatment Center to be a nucleus for an integrated hospital in the future.
He pointed out that the hospital has been supplied with some equipment and medicine, waiting for the Health Ministry to continue training the medical
and technical cadres and ensure the needed medicines which will ease the suffering of the citizens who travel to another cities for treatment.
