Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will continue to rise, yet they will remain from 2 to 4 degrees below average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by northwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Wednesday bulletin that the skies will be partly cloudy to rainy and the rains will be heavy and accompanied with thunders sometimes, particularly over the northwestern and the coastal areas while the rains will be mixed with snow at the mountains and the northern and al-Jazeera areas.
The Department added that weather will be very cold at night at the mountains and the northern, eastern and al-Jazeera regions, warning against ice and frost in these areas.
The wind will be easterly with a low to moderate speed in the eastern and northern areas and it will be southwesterly with a low to moderate speed in the other regions, and it will be active sometimes in the coastal and southern regions while the sea waves will be low to medium in height.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 10/4, Daraa 8/4, Homs 7/2, Tartous 15/9, Aleppo 5/0 and Deir Ezzor 8/2.
