Speaker Sabbagh to participate in AIPU emergency meeting for supporting Palestinian cause

Amman, SANA – Speaker of the People’s Assembly Hammoudeh Sabbagh arrived in the Jordanian capital Amman to participate in the 30th emergency meeting of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union (AIPU) which will kick off tomorrow to support the Palestinian cause.

Upon arrival in Amman on Friday, Sabbagh said he is participating in the meeting which was held based upon an invitation from Speaker of Jordan’s House of Representatives Atef Tarawneh, in order to stand against the “deal of the century” and other schemes that seek to eliminate the Palestinian cause.

Sabbagh hoped that the meeting will result in decisions that contribute to supporting the Palestinian cause and the Arab nation in general.

Representatives of 20 Arab parliaments will be participating in the meeting.
