Moscow, SANA – Russian President Vladimir Putin affirmed the need for eliminating terrorism in Syria completely, restoring the Syrian state’s control over all areas, resolving the crisis in Syria according to Security Council resolution no. 2254, returning displaced Syrians to their country, and carrying out reconstruction.
During a press conference with German Chancellor Angela Merkel in Moscow on Saturday, Putin said that information shows that a large number of terrorists have been transported from the de-escalation zone in Idleb to Libya, describing this process as very dangerous.
He also stressed the importance of preserving the Iranian nuclear deal.
