Northern European countries strongly condemn Turkish aggression on Syrian territory

Stockholm, SANA-The five northern European countries condemned the Turkish regime’s aggression on Syrian territory.

Sputnik quoted Danish Minister for Foreign Affairs Jeppe Kofod as saying on Wednesday during the 71st session of the Nordic Council in Stockholm that the countries of northern Europe (Denmark, Iceland, Norway, Sweden and Finland) strongly condemn the Turkish “military operation” in the north of Syria, because “it leads to more escalation and undermines the peace process”.

It is noteworthy that the (Nordic) Council is a regional organization established in 1952 with the aim of launching cooperation between the parliaments of the Nordic countries Denmark, Iceland, Norway, Sweden and Finland.
