Moscow, SANA- Russian President Vladimir Putin reaffirmed the necessity of respecting Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
That came in a phone call with French President Emmanuel Macron during which the two Presidents discussed the situations in northeastern Syria, according to what has been announced by the Kremlin Press Service Office.
During the phone call, Putin underlined the importance of launching a Syrian-Syrian dialogue in framework of holding the Committee of Discussing the Constitution by the end of the current month with the aim of reaching a sustainable political settlement in Syria.
President Putin referred to the efforts exerted by Russia for realizing stability in the region.
