Damascus, SANA-Information Minister Omran al-Zoubi called Monday for promoting and developing the Syrian drama to be a civilized, brilliant and national center, particularly after the success it has achieved and the sacrifices offered to make the distinguished identity of this national industry.
Meeting Chief of the Artists, actor Zouheir Ramadan and members of the new artists’ syndicate, the Minister listened to an explanation on the situation of drama and the needs of artists and writers, saying that the Ministry will spare no effort to help raise the Syrian drama.
He called on members of the Syndicate to offer job opportunities to the youth artists and deal with the big issues in drama series.
In turn, members of the Syndicate showed their determination to intensify the efforts during these exceptional conditions to take part in confronting the fierce media attack which distorts the realities and harms the Syrian history, culture and history.
