Damascus, SANA – Supported by the Syrian government, the General Authority for Palestine Arab Refugees (GAPAR) and the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) distributed 800 food and health baskets in Yarmouk Camp in Damascus on Thursday and Friday.
The GAPAR distributed 400 food baskets along with bread and water, and 400 health baskets at Rama Street in the Camp, with distribution due to continue on Saturday.
Children who came to the distribution point were also given vaccines.
The total of food baskets that have been distributed since the beginning of the year reached 53,374, while the number of health baskets rose to 9,284.
