Damascus-SANA Director of The Marketing tourist department at tourism Ministry Bassam Barsik affirmed that the Syrian pavilion at the Earth Festival which was held lately in the Mount Fuji region in Japan has witnessed a huge turnout and a media presence to convey the reality about what is going on in Syria to the whole world.
Barsik said in a statement that the Syrian Embassy in Japan participated in the event, sponsored by Tourism and Foreign ministries, including photos about heritage of Syrian sites before and after the systematic destruction affected to them at the hands of armed terrorist organizations.
The Syrian pavilion displaced media shows and reports that attracted visitors who watched what is really happening in Syria through translated explanations to Japanese and English languages.
Barsik noted that the festival organizers gave symbolic gifts, made by Japanese children, to the Syrian Embassy, expressing their sympathy with the Syrian children who are still suffering due to terrorist acts, most recently the double terrorist explosions that hit schools at Ekrimah neighborhood in Homs.
