Cairo, SANA-Syria was elected Sunday as head of the Arab Labor delegation for the second time at the Arab Labor Conference being held in Cairo.
President of General Federation of Trade Unions in Syria Jamal al-Qaderi said in a press statement “For the second successive year, the Syrian delegation is elected as Head of the Arab Labor delegation… this is a confidence by all in Syrian workers Federation.”
“We will ask the conference to issue a recommendation to break the economic siege and the unilateral, coercive measures imposed on the Syrian people and we will ask it to condemn the foreign interventions in Syria’s domestic affairs,” al-Qaderi added.
