Sabbagh stresses need for consolidating parliamentary cooperation between Syria and DPRK

Damascus, SANA -Speaker of People’s Assembly Hammouda Sabbagh stressed during his meeting with Ambassador of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) Mun Jong-nam the need for consolidating cooperation between parliaments of the two countries in a way that serves the interests of the two peoples.

Sabbagh pointed out to Syria’s standing by the side of DPRK in the face of the US threats that seek to undermine the resilience of the Korean people and their just cause, lauding DPRK’s stances by the side of the Syrian people and leadership.

For his part, Jong-nam pointed out to the strong bases of the relations between the two countries, expressing appreciation over Syria’s stances in support to his country in the international forums.
