Damascus, SANA- Chairman of the board of Damascus Chamber of Industry Basel Hamwi said Monday that 109 industrial facilities out of 144 returned to work and production in Rima and Yabroud areas in al-Qalamoun region in Damascus countryside.
In a statement to SANA, al-Hamwi said that the return of that number of industrial factories to work comes as a result to the government’s interest in reconstructing infrastructure in the aforementioned areas and providing them with all equipment needed for work to continue.
He hailed the swift fixing of electricity power in the two areas and excluding them from the rationing programs.
