Egypt strongly condemns the terrorist bombings in Homs

Cairo, SANA _ Egypt strongly condemned the twin terrorist explosions that hit a compound of schools in Homs and claimed the lives of scores of people, mostly schoolchildren .

Egyptian Foreign Ministry spokesman Badr Abdel Atty said in a press release that the phenomenon of terrorism require unifying the world’s efforts for combating and uprooting it.

Abdel Atty renewed Egypt’s position which focuses on the political solution for the crisis in Syria in a way that achieves aspirations of the Syrian people and safeguards the Syrian territorial integrity.

Earlier, two terrorist bombings hit an area near a school compound in Ekrima neighborhood in Homs city as children were leaving school, leaving 33 dead and more than 102 wounded, mostly children.
