Baghdad, SANA-Iraq condemned on Thursday the terrorist attacks that took place in Sweida province by Daesh (ISIS) terrorists.
The Iraqi Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ahmed Mahjoub said in a statement quoted by Alsumaria News website that the actions carried out by terrorist groups and organizations at this particular time confirm the despair of the terrorists after the successive defeats and the re-imposition of law and order on the Syrian territories.
The Iraqi Foreign Ministry, according to the statement, affirms Iraq’s rejection of terrorism in all its forms and renews Baghdad’s firm stance towards the situation in Syria in support of the territorial integrity of Syria and the liberation of all Syrian soil.
The statement also expressed condolences to the martyrs’ families and wishes for a speedy recovery for the wounded.
On Wednesday, a number of civilians were martyred and others were injured in terrorist suicide attacks on the city of Sweida in sync with terrorist attacks by Daesh terrorists on a number of villages in eastern and northern countryside of the province.
