Damascus Countryside, SANA-Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Antioch and All the East John X Yazigi affirmed that the Syrians whether Muslims or Christians are one family and will ever remain steadfast in their homeland and terrorism will not be able to uproot them from this land.
Patriarch Yazigi remarks came during a visit to the Church of St. George and the Great Mosque of Erbin in Erbin area and the Church of the Prophet Elijah and al-Zahraa Mosque in the city of Harasta.
The Patriarch was briefed on the damage and vandalism affected the religious places in the region.
He also saluted that heroism of the Syrian Arab Army who cleared the region of terrorism, stressing that the sons of Syria are steadfast and mobilized around their army and their leadership.
