Damascus, SANA- Ambassador of Venezuela in Damascus Imad Saab affirmed on Thursday that his country always supports Syria in its war against terrorism.
“The terrorist attack on Syria is very similar to that fierce attack on Venezuela sovereignty and internal safety,” Saab said during a celebration held in Damascus on Venezuela national day.
He was confident Syria would come out victorious in the war on terrorism.
For his part, Deputy Foreign and expatriates Minister Fayssal Mikdad affirmed that enemy of Syria and Venezuela is one, which is Israel and its obedient servant, represented by the US.
He added that when Syria stands against terrorism in defense of the humanity, it also stands by people of Venezuela in their defense of freedom and independence.
