Damascus Countryside, SANA- A ministerial delegation, headed by Prime Minister Imad Khamis, inspected on Thursday the rehabilitation works in the industrial areas in al-Qaboun, al-Zablatani and al-Qadam.
During the tour, Khamis called on all service establishments to complete supplying those areas with basic services within 30 days, giving a period of 60 days for all factories to rerun.
A working team was also established to secure the transfer of equipment and machinery to factories from the temporary areas and alleviate the granting of import licenses for machinery and equipment and restoration of plants.
Khamis affirmed that the return of those commercial zones to production will improve the national economy.
He indicated that the government allocated SYP 3 billion to restore services to the industrial areas in Damascus and its Countryside.
